About the Everyday Catholic Woman logo

I hired someone to design this logo for me, and I thought you might find it interesting to know what it represents. First the Sacred Heart of Jesus image is in honor of my patron saint, St. Margaret Mary. Blog posts in the August 4th week will explain that connection!

The rose is in honor of Our Blessed Mother. She is probably the ultimate female role model for Christian women, and I am going to talk about her during the week of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.

The string of pearls is a symbol sometimes used to represent St. Mary Magdalene. You might notice how much she inspired me by the fact that I am launching the blog with her …and on her feast day.
