St. Hildegard believed that “faith contributes to good health and healing,” (cited here) because of the discipline needed to eat well and be physically active. To honor St. Hildegard today, let’s start the day with a prayer, and then make every effort to be healthy all day long. We can make good choices at meal times, and maybe we can even get in some nice healthy exercise. Of course, each of us will have to decide how that fits our particular diet and fitness levels.
