St. Elizabeth Ann Seton was determined to live God’s will for her life. In honor of her commitment, let’s all make sure we find a good 10 minutes today to talk to God. I find the ideal time to be in the morning when I’m the only one awake in the house, but any quiet time will work.
Sometimes the most beautiful prayer is just sitting in a quiet space listening for God’s message. Other times, it is helpful to say memorized prayers like the Our Father or Hail Mary or Glory Be. I often prefer to just talk to God, tell Him about my day or what is going on in my life.
As an additional thought, maybe today is a good time to examine our daily routines and find those opportunities to schedule regular daily prayer. If you haven’t already been finding time to pray every day, I promise it will change your life.
