I’m afraid I will have to take another break from blogging for a little while. I love writing for Everyday Catholic Woman, and I love the idea of sharing this journey with all of you, but I have to be honest with myself about the time constraints I’m facing.
I don’t know if I ever mentioned it here, but I am also studying theology now. Last fall, I began to pursue a master’s degree in theology through an online program from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. I love my studies, but they are taking some time!
Now, as I go into the final third of this semester, while still carrying a full-time teaching load, I have a few demands on my time that are causing me to make this tough decision. Certainly, my students have to be a priority, and this has been a particularly busy year in that regard. Teaching a new calculus course and a new AP statistics course is also demanding a LOT of my time.
So as I make sure my students are prepared for their next steps, and as I spend extra time with my own studies, I’m afraid I won’t be able to also do a good job with this blog. I will continue to pray for all of you, and I ask that you also pray for me. I look forward to resuming our journey together in June!
Thanks for sharing all that you have done. God Bless you in your endeavors.
Good luck, n don’t forget to take care of yourself too!!
